You're off to a good start! Good realism having the ship take damage when it collides with land. It seemed like even enemy ships took damage if pushed into land as well. I was glad to see that the sails aren't included in the collision detection. Controls were simple and the ship movement was adequate. I also liked how your ship fired with random accuracy in the ship battles.
Here are a couple suggested improvements:
- Enemy ships should also have a degree of random shooting accuracy. It seems like every enemy ship has sniper accuracy, especially if you're staying still.
- I like the randomized world. If you can improve the terrain graphics I think that would be a good investment of effort.
- Some of the icons didn't make any sense and some of the text (like the word "Play") was almost impossible to read because the text color nearly matched the background color.
